Remote teaching offers teachers an efficient way to deliver lessons to students during this time of the pandemic. It can be done on different platforms. Teachers can use several tools as part of the delivery of learning. By extending teaching delivery with a repertoire of instructional strategies, teachers can become more efficient instructional leaders. Embracing the remote teaching platform for distant learning professes a significant relationship to the improvement and professional growth in teaching. This study aimed to explore the experiences of public elementary teachers in remote teaching in a time of the pandemic. It reveals that teachers who collaborate with parents effectively become successful in the attainment of learning goals. Teachers were challenged to find pedagogical approaches appropriate for remote learning. Instructional delivery adds to the major concern of the participants because it further revealed the problem of the interactivity of learners that somewhat affects their psychological and emotional conditions. Teachers were challenged to provide authentic assessment processes. However, this study also presents how teachers were able to manifest resilience and work commitment to cope with the challenges of remote teaching. The resilience of teachers in adapting to the new normal in education during a time of pandemic was manifested in its implementation. Moreover, this study gathered some insights to cope with the difficulties encountered in the conduct of remote teaching, to wit optimism and acceptance, adapting to a paradigm shift, and attending webinars that capacitated them to effectively and efficiently performed their task as instructional leaders to our learners
